If it’s a Japanese stick you want but also want a zoom feature then this is the rod for you! This rod is rated as a 7:3 action but true to most if the rods Nissin sells the 7:3 is more along the lines of a 6:4. The 360 collapses to 310 and the 320 down to 270.
Both rods are light, well balanced and the handle is very comfortable. While most zoom rods will have different actions in their respective configurations these rods may demonstrate the least difference than we have seen compared to other similar rods. These rods will handle 3, 3.5 and 4.0 level lines with no problem. However, we like them with the 3.0 or 3.5 line. Capable of unweighted or small bead head flies with no problems.
