This a hi-vis fluorocarbon line is designed by Masami "Tenkara no Oni" Sakakibara from Japan. It comes in a spool of 20 meters and has great casting characteristics. The line comes in 3 sizes 3.0 , 3.5 and 4.0. Available in both Orange and Pink.
If you are new to Tenkara don't worry about what size to get as they will all work just fine. The 3.0 presents a fly a little more delicately and allows you to keep more line off the water. The 4.0 casts a heavier fly a little easier and performs better in windy conditions. As a result the 4.0 is also a good choice for beginners to Tenkara. However it is a little bit harder to keep as much line off the water.
The 3.5 is a compromise between the two sizes. It is looked at as an "all around" line by many. We recommend a couple sizes for different conditions. If you are unsure try the 3.5 or 4.0. However again, if you are new to Tenkara do not stress over which line to get. Pick one, fish it and have fun. When your ready for more come back and visit us!
